I agree that they at least had the idea of Force key (we saw mockups in the firmware), but if the MPC key won't sell well, I don't think they would ever go that way. MPC sold well and you can see that on so many MPC iterations, live, live mk2, one, one retro, X and now Key and I am pretty sure before year's end we will see another MPC even if it will be just in Ferrari red. We are talking about mid-tier big-boys pricing. There's a reason for that?I think they really would go with another keyboard only if this one sells well and that remains to be seen. What I think could be true is that the Force was the initial intention, maybe even as new MPC workflow system, but the something changed, and the product release scheduling and focus shifted. Having tried the MPC Key 61, I can see that the MPC structure and Force structure are greatly different to such a point where a Force OS wouldn't function properly with the MPC Key layout.Īdditionally, there's actually chunks of features and Force functionality missing from all versions of MPC OS to date.
I believe the Force Keys is probably something that is in development (or likely already been developed).
